Polynesian Wedding in Murrieta

It was cold outside but you wouldn’t know it as you stepped inside and was taken on a show tour to the islands Hawaii, Tahiti, New Zealand, Samoa, Fiji and Tokelau.  Each of these islands were represented with traditional dances performed from each.  Even the bride was taught the “Siva Siva" from Samoa and did a surprise performance while the Islander family sang the traditional Taualuga.  The wedding also featured the traditional Hawaiian Wedding song, beautifully performed.   The room was totally transformed to a beautiful tropical island with beautiful island props, tropical flower arrangements and palm trees.  The island feast was initiated with the traditional Pua’a pig ceremony.  Then it was time to enjoy the Islanders Luau buffet table with island favorite dishes including: Hula Chicken, Kaneohe fried rice, Hawaiian Mac Salad, Susiana Cabbage Salad, Hawaiian Short Ribs and much much more…

I was shocked to see the island life take place inside. The food was delicious and the love songs played on guitar before the show brought a smile to my face. It was so much fun being part of the islands for my reception.
