A popular review site drives small businesses crazy because they only post a small percentage of the positive reviews that are submitted. Reviews that they think could be fake are pushed into a “not currently recommended” area of their site. We feel that if our customers went to the trouble to write a review, we should let them be posted…. right here. "This company is so awesome. We hired them for my wedding Luau. People talked about it for weeks after! It was so special and authentic. I was able to do my backyard wedding at a reasonable price, but it felt like such an exotic experience. During the planning stages Maril put my mind at ease. He was so fun, charming--and during the show--hilarious. He delivered over the top as an entertainer and fire dancer. Guests flew in from all over the world for this corporate event at beautiful Paradise Point in San Diego last Monday. Our customer had told us that the VP of Facebook and an executive for Google would be there. After the show when we were taking pictures with guests, this man came over to get a picture. Several people came over and excitedly whispered, "That's our CEO!!!!" You would think he was Troy Palumalu or "The Rock" or someone like that by how star-struck they all were!

Ohana is the best word I can think of to describe Maril and the Islander’s Luau! Words can hardly describe how Maril and his family far exceeded all of our expectations for my parents 50th Wedding Anniversary! My parents have visited the Islands of Hawaii for the last 50 years of their marriage as a place for vacation, rejuvenation, and for the love of each other and the Islands!
When I first spoke with Maril he stated that they would bring the Islands to us!! That is the very best explanation to describe all that Maril brought to our celebration! The experienced dancers, the delicious food, the authentic music, the engaging costumes, and the warm people of the Islands created the passion for the Islands! A well-known review site uses an algorithm to decide which reviews are true and which ones are fake. Anything they deem to be fake is listed as "not currently recommended". Not only has their algorithm rejected reviews from our friends and family--even if they were paying clients, but they have also rejected twelve 5-star reviews from clients who spent their valuable time writing heartfelt reviews. Here they are!
