The second 4 year old’s party was an over-the-top Lilo & Stitch birthday party! Not only did they hire us to cater, entertain, and decorate, but they also hired an event planner who set up several huge tents with false ceilings to look like you were in the ocean with huge fish swimming above you, and also lots of wall sized Lilo & Stitch posters, an artist who sketched caricatures of guests onto coconuts, and she brought in special guests, Lilo & Stitch. Guests flew in from all over the world for this corporate event at beautiful Paradise Point in San Diego last Monday. Our customer had told us that the VP of Facebook and an executive for Google would be there. After the show when we were taking pictures with guests, this man came over to get a picture. Several people came over and excitedly whispered, "That's our CEO!!!!" You would think he was Troy Palumalu or "The Rock" or someone like that by how star-struck they all were!
Our last event of the year was on a chilly night in December. Food, entertainment, our Fiji Foto booth, and decor! The host says he plans on hiring us for several events each year. He gave us a fun "tip", too--a free hot-air balloon ride over the hillsides of Temecula.
Every January Islanders Luau gets asked to kick off the New Year at the Harley Davidson dealerships in Riverside, CA and Westminster, CA. Being asked back seven years in a row speaks for itself!
