“ Islanders Luau’s experience and know-how was fully exhibited before and during the luau at Four Seasons this past Saturday. I can categorically say that everyone in attendance had an enjoyable and memorable experience. The catering crew (Soli, Josh, Zachary) got the preparation going right way. The food was excellent, the entertainment was fantastic. We had tons of compliments of the entertainment, the performance of the emcee (Harvey), and the dancers (Toto, Annette, Chelsea, Sam and Alejandra). Our thanks for Vivian being here assisting and directing the preparation and food distribution, and generally being available to answer questions we had for him.
The tone was set as the guests arrived. They were greeted by Harvey wearing a lava-lava strumming his ukulele with an “aloha” welcome. They entered the plaza to a floral display, the smell of teriyaki chicken cooking, and the delightful Hawaiian music. The residents inspected the presentation of the roasted pig as it was carried by “warriors” (residents in lava lava), and was greeted by “ohohohs and ahahahs.”
It was a wonderful evening. An evening which we can hopefully reproduce in 2024. ”

We had hula girls, flame dancer, who happened to be a cousin to two of our guests, to their surprise, and an MC that played the music for us. “Aloha, Maril! I want to congratulate your team on helping me to execute a phenomenal luau for my 40th birthday. Everything was incredible, and all of my guests were blown away by how amazing everything was, from the food to the entertainment to the pig ceremony. The team was professional and polite and felt like ohana.
The food: Everyone was raving about the food, especially the meatballs and the chicken. And there was plenty of it. Some of my guests were able to go away with some take-home boxes, and my family brought home a bag of pork and a bag of fried rice to eat the following day. It was perfect.
The pig ceremony: my guests were amazed and thought that was the neatest thing. Many of them kept saying that they’ve never seen anything like that except for in Hawaii. And the pig was delicious too!
The bartender: Matt Schwartz was the guy that the company sent. I don’t know if you typically contract with this company, but Matt was phenomenal. He was exactly what I wanted.
The music: We loved all of the authentic island music. There was a little bit of everything, and it was fun seeing my family dance and have a good time.
The set up and tear down: The team was great and placing the decor and everything as I had envisioned it. It came out exactly like the picture in my head. Even better.
The show: Everyone did a fabulous job. The kane was super impressive with his fire dancing, and the girls danced beautifully and really got my guests to get into the fun with a few crowd participation dances.
There is nothing I would have changed. Everything was just wonderful. Such an incredible memory I was able to create with my family and friends with the help of your team.

The food was to die for—grilled fresh on site (torturing you with the smell), and OH. SO. GOOD!!! We booked them last minute for a school party, and they came through quickly and professionally. They set up authentic island educational (and fun) booths and kept the kids entertained all afternoon. All the teachers agreed that having Islanders Luau was like being in the islands. The show was mesmerizing and kept the kids and adults enthralled and completely captivated. They even stayed after and mingling with the kids, teaching dance moves, letting them see the drums, and taking photos. I will absolutely book with them again! The second 4 year old’s party was an over-the-top Lilo & Stitch birthday party! Not only did they hire us to cater, entertain, and decorate, but they also hired an event planner who set up several huge tents with false ceilings to look like you were in the ocean with huge fish swimming above you, and also lots of wall sized Lilo & Stitch posters, an artist who sketched caricatures of guests onto coconuts, and she brought in special guests, Lilo & Stitch.
